Responsibilities
Supporting students in the applications process by mentoring application quality and Personal Statement writing. Delivering PD sessions. Supporting students in their career and progression planning and advising on how to access guidance on making informed choices. Monitoring the attendance of students in line with college targets, setting improvement targets for students where necessary. Establishing a tutor group identity and a rapport with individual students.
QualificationsKnowledge of post-16 education and options reness of key Safeguarding issues relating to young people. Educated to degree level. Good interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills. Ability to build strong, professional relationships with students, staff, and families.
