SEN Teaching Assistant – Inclusion Room (Warrington)
A welcoming primary school in Warrington is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated inclusion team.
This role will be based within the school’s inclusion room, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will play a key role in helping children regulate, engage with learning, and develop socially and emotionally within a structured and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist with the delivery of individualised learning plans
- Support behaviour regulation strategies and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with the SENCo and wider staff team
- Create a calm, safe, and nurturing space for pupils
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly within a primary setting
- Patience, resilience, and ability to build strong relationships
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies and inclusive practices
- Proactive and able to use initiative
This is a temporary position; in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
