Location:
Leigh based (suppoting major airfield frameworks – regular travel required)
Salary:
Up to £45,000 + package (Negotiable)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a SHEQ Advisor to support the delivery of specialist civil engineering works across major UK airfield frameworks. The role will support multiple live projects with individual work package values of up to £5m, operating within a business that has a guaranteed pipeline of secured work for at least the next five years.
You will act as a key advisor to operational teams, ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality are embedded across airside and landside works in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide proactive SHEQ advice and support to site and project teams
* Carry out site inspections, audits and engagement visits across UK airfield projects
* Support compliance with SHEQ legislation, internal standards and client requirements
* Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and improvement plans
* Produce SHEQ reports, dashboards and performance data
* Support internal audits against ISO standards and relevant sector schemes
* Contribute to environmental and carbon reduction reporting and action planning
* Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the business
Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
* IOSH membership
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a SHEQ role within construction or civil engineering
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence operational teams
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
