Test Technician (Role overview)

Varied mechanical engineering position working within an engineering business that is at the heart of R&D projects. Days based position covering a range of test-based duties with variety across tasks. Fantastic employer working on very interesting projects within a specialist sector.

• Calibrating equipment ready for test procedures.

• Performing tests and collecting accurate result information.

• Working within an R&D lab / clean room environment on a range of tasks.

• C £33,000 to £38,000 per annum depending on experience.

• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays with scope to purchase additional days.

• 8% employer pension.

• Healthcare and life insurance policies.

• An experienced Test Technician who has worked with a mechanical engineering test environment.

• Hold a relevant mechanical or aerospace engineering qualification.

• Hands on in nature, good problem solver, comfortable communicating results to various points of contact.

• Specific knowledge around tribology and mechanisms would be useful, but this can be trained.

• A medium sized engineering business based in Warrington.

• Opportunity to work on a range of exciting R&D projects across multiple sectors.
