Mechanical Engineer

The role Were recruiting a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to support a long-term Police estate contract across the North West. This is a site-based, compliance-focused role, carrying out structured SFG inspections on mechanical and HVAC plant. The work is hands-on and practical, focused on condition checks and accurate reporting, rather than design or office-based engineering. Sites are primarily across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Greater Liverpool.

Air Handling Units (AHUs) Supply and extract fans Booster sets Expansion vessels Pressurisation units Typical tasks include:
Visual and mechanical condition checks Verifying security, mounting and general condition Functional testing where required Identifying defects or deterioration
