CE&I Engineer
Altrad are currently seeking a CE&I Responsible Engineer. The role will lead a team of CE&I Engineers in the definition, implementation and delivery of functional CE&I work that meets safety, functional and business requirements across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate a team of CE&I Engineers to deliver project scope from concept design through to handover.
- Provide technical leadership and accountability for CE&I design and delivery activities.
- Define and implement CE&I engineering solutions that meet safety, regulatory, functional and business needs.
- Deliver CE&I works in compliance with applicable external Engineering Standards and site‑specific requirements.
- Electrical Supply Infrastructure: LV drag chain, Lighting, Earthing, Fire Alarm, CCTV, etc
- Programmable Electronic Systems:
Lifecycle, MIS, SCADA & PLC systems - Cyber Security
- Safety Systems
- Process and Radiometric Special Instrumentation
- Contribute to and develop project programmes and cost estimates to support effective planning and delivery.
- Manage CE&I delivery in collaboration with the supply chain and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Undertake design assurance and verification activities to ensure compliance and quality.
- Provide CE&I engineering support to Construction and Commissioning phases.
- Apply project management fundamentals to manage scope, schedule and risk.
- Actively support and mentor early career engineers, promoting development and competence growth.

- Provide Responsible Engineer oversight for:
- Electrical Supply Infrastructure: LV drag chain, Lighting, Earthing, Fire Alarm, CCTV, etc
- Programmable Electronic Systems:
Lifecycle, MIS, SCADA & PLC systems - Cyber Security
- Safety Systems
- Process and Radiometric Special Instrumentation
- Remote Handling
- Contribute to and develop project programmes and cost estimates to support effective planning and delivery.
- Manage CE&I delivery in collaboration with the supply chain and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Undertake design assurance and verification activities to ensure compliance and quality.
- Provide CE&I engineering support to Construction and Commissioning phases.

- Academic qualification to HNC level in a relevant CE&I/Electrical discipline.
- Incorporated Engineer status (or working towards).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully delivering CE&I Engineer role on external multidisciplinary projects.
- Proven experience delivering CE&I scope from concept design through to handover.
- Experience in design assurance, construction support and commissioning support activities.
- Experience managing delivery through collaboration with supply chain partners.
