Key responsibilities and tasksYour new role:
You'll be responsible for electrical and instrumentation tasks including installation, calibration, fault diagnosis, and maintenance of test equipment and systems. The role involves hands‑on work with electronics, PCB layouts, motor controls, and vacuum instrumentation, supporting both R&D and operational activities.
- Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent in electronics/instrumentation or 2 years of hands‑on experience in a technical discipline
- Strong practical skills in wiring, soldering, PCB rework, and calibration
- Ability to read and create basic circuit designs
- Comfortable working in clean room environments and using lab equipment
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and a good communicator
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
