Our work spans iconic and unconventional projects, including restoration of Manchester’s Grade‑I listed Town Hall, transformation of the British Museum, leading fire safety for Work Stack – the UK’s first mass timber light industrial building, and a RIBA London Award winner.
TheOpportunity
You will join an extraordinary collective that values individuality. You will complement our fire safety team and deliver fire safety engineering services for clients. As part of a 400+ strong network, your role involves interactive and collaborative working with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams. Our hybrid model accommodates diverse needs.

Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in fire engineering, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Preferably a Chartered Engineer with or near completing status from a relevant institution such as the Institution of Fire Engineers.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance, awareness of new regulatory regime.
• Experience delivering evidence‑based fire safety solutions for UK projects across sectors.
• Proven ability to gain consent for prescriptive and performance‑based design solutions.
• Strong meeting, negotiation, project team and financial management skills.
• Team player willing to share knowledge, receptive to feedback and eager to learn.
- Experience in a fire engineering consultancy or similar environment.
- Extensive background delivering evidence‑based fire safety solutions for UK-based projects across sectors.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and guidance used in the UK, and awareness of the new regulatory regime.
- Experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, and ability to explain technical matters to laypersons.
- Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work or other design frameworks such as GRIP.
