Senior Systems Engineer
Location:
Bristol or Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working arrangement. Full time, permanent. Role .
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will deliver high-impact systems engineering across a major long-term nuclear programme, leading and directing activities across complex programmes, allocating tasks, mentoring junior engineers, delivering hands-on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration, and leading and contributing to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders.
Day-to-day Responsibilities- Lead and direct systems engineering activities across complex programmes.
- Allocate tasks and oversee delivery from a team of systems engineers.
- Mentor and support junior engineers to grow capability across the team.
- Deliver hands-on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration.
- Lead and contribute to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders.
- Strong systems engineering experience across requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification and validation.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers within engineering teams.
- Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes.
- Experience reviewing technical outputs and leading engineering or design reviews.
- Applying full lifecycle systems engineering expertise.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (desirable).
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
