I'm currently supporting a well-established consultancy in the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing North West team.
This is an opportunity to work on one of the UK's most significant nuclear infrastructure programmes, supporting a major facility that plays a key role in the country's energy sector. The programme includes a wide range of capital investment projects, from infrastructure and utilities upgrades through to new-build facilities and specialist engineering projects.
You'll join an established commercial team delivering projects within a highly regulated environment, gaining exposure to major frameworks, NEC contracts, and complex, high-value schemes with long‑term investment plans.
The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, you'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, providing commercial support on a portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning and cost management
- Procurement and tender support
- NEC contract administration
- Change control and variations management
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Risk and opportunity management
- Contractor account management
- Stakeholder engagement across project and client teams
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within consultancy, client‑side, infrastructure, engineering, or construction environments
- Strong NEC contract experience
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Experience with in infrastructure, energy, utilities, defence, or other regulated sectors would be advantageous
