Addison Project plc is a UK‑wide engineering consultancy focused on delivering EPCM projects across the chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and food & beverage sectors. This role is for a Senior Project Engineer to support upcoming Process Sector Design Engineering projects.
Work ScopeThe Senior Project Engineer will manage all project phases and coordinate design engineering elements, including Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical/Piping, Process Safety, and Civil & Structural teams. The role ensures projects remain within budget and on schedule, meeting customer requirements.
Services to be ProvidedKey responsibilities include reviewing project proposals and plans, determining specifications, generating technical aspects of equipment and construction work packages, and liaison with clients and stakeholders. The engineer will identify risks, implement mitigations, manage subcontractors, and verify their progress, maintaining adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
Experience & Qualifications- Experience of project engineering onshore moderate size EPCM projects on chemical / petrochemical sites.
- Experience working on COMAH sites.
- Proven project engineering experience; familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
- Minimum HNC/D in an Engineering discipline or relevant field.
- Project engineering skills with planning & organising capability and attention to detail.
- Co‑ordination of engineering design office teams on front end engineering design projects and detailed design projects.
- Client facing experience.
- Site experience on startup and commissioning is desirable.
- Understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.
