The RoleAs an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of developing, delivering, and supporting radiometric characterisation and alarm systems across the UK and internationally. Day-to-dayResponsibilities
- Develop and verify technical solutions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead investigations and drive design improvements across projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to manage specifications and delivery.
- Support project execution and mentor junior engineers.
- Promote engineering excellence, health and safety, and cultural change across the business.
This is a full-time role with a 37-hour working week, based at one of our key locations Moor Row (Cumbria), Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
Essential Experience- Working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project types.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivering systems input and providing post-installation or third-line technical support.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers on-site for testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Background in EC&I, Physics, or Radiometric, with experience in control systems and analogue/digital electronics.
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) in electronics, control and instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
