As a Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Designer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll provide support and technical guidance for a team of designers. The role will assure the quality of output to the required standards consistent with the whole lifecycle from concept to in service support.

Day-to-day, you’ll

• Provide specialist technical advice and design governance, ensuring adherence to technical standards and promoting collaboration across Design and other functions.
• Allocate tasks and check outputs for a team of Designers, ensuring coordination across disciplines and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Support customer engagement, helping to resolve technical and delivery issues while building strong relationships to aid business development.
• Contribute to design production, including drawings for basic, detailed, and production stages, and assist in resolving manufacturing and installation queries.
• Lead low-risk multi-discipline projects, develop innovative design solutions, and stay informed on industry developments, tools, and techniques.

This role is a full time role, based in either Warrington or Preston, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

• Experience in a detailed design environment
• Good knowledge of CAD tools
• Knowledge of General Engineering Drawing Practice

• HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline OR equivalent academic qualification
