We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation delivering major projects within the UK nuclear sector. Due to continued growth, opportunities are available for CS&A Engineers through to Principal CS&A Engineers to join an established team working on complex infrastructure programmes.
The Role sYou'll support the delivery of Civil, Structural & Architectural engineering packages, contributing to design, assessment, verification and construction support activities within a highly regulated environment.
Senior and Principal Engineers will also provide technical leadership, review and approval of design deliverables, stakeholder engagement and mentoring of junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Produce and review CS&A calculations, assessments, specifications, drawings and reports.
- Deliver engineering design packages to agreed quality, cost and programme requirements.
- Develop and coordinate designs using Autodesk Revit.
- Support multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Participate in design reviews, technical queries and safety‑related activities.
- Conduct site visits and provide engineering support during construction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and industry regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and design governance at senior levels.
- Degree, HND or HNC in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar.
- Experience with in a highly regulated industry, ideally Nuclear.
- Knowledge of structural steelwork design and relevant design codes.
- Experience producing engineering calculations and design documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Autodesk Revit experience is desirable.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is advantageous.
- Principal-level candidates should demonstrate leadership experience and proven delivery of major projects.
