Warrington / Hull | Hybrid (3 Days Office-Based)
We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to support major Nuclear clients based in Warrington and Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-profile projects within the nuclear sector.
We are offering full-time roles on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office), on a permanent Basis

Duties:
* Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams delivering nuclear projects across the full project lifecycle.
* Oversee engineering design, verification, and technical governance activities.
* Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage project scope, schedules, resources, and budgets.
* Review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
* Support concept, feasibility, and detailed design phases.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, regulators, and supply chain partners.
* Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and best practice.
* Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.
* Support construction, commissioning, and site activities where required.
Essential Experience – Engineering Manager:
* Proven experience in managing engineering teams within regulated industries.
* Strong background in nuclear, defence, or similarly complex environments.
* Experience delivering large-scale engineering projects.
* Sound knowledge of safety case processes and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Desirable
Experience:
* Previous experience working within the UK nuclear sector.
* Understanding of seismic, structural, mechanical, or systems engineering.
* Experience working with major engineering consultancies or Tier 1 contractors.
* Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering tools.
Qualifications:
* Degree qualified in Engineering (BEng / MEng or equivalent).
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartership preferred.
* Membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE, IMechE, IET, etc.) advantageous.
