We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join a major nuclear programme based in Warrington or Hull. This is a permanent staff position offering a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in the office and the remainder working remotely.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving engineering delivery across complex, high-value EPC projects within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across major nuclear projects

* Oversee engineering delivery in line with EPC / EPCM project requirements

* Ensure technical quality, compliance, and adherence to nuclear regulatory standards

* Provide leadership across Process, Mechanical, and CS&A (Civil, Structural & Architectural) disciplines

* Drive project performance, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, and budget

* Interface with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

* Support the development of engineering strategies and best practices across programmes

Experience

Required:

* Proven experience in a Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, or Head of Engineering role

* Strong background in one or more of the following disciplines:
Process, Mechanical, or CS&A

* Demonstrable experience delivering engineering on EPC / EPCM / major capital projects

* Experience with in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries

* Strong understanding of engineering governance, assurance, and compliance requirements

* Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

* Strong leadership and team management capability

* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

* Ability to lead within complex, safety-critical project environments
