We are looking for a candidate who enjoys combining hands‑on technical support with structured engineering improvements in an international environment with multiple stakeholders.

Join us in our mission to build a world of ever better energy.

BWSC is a leading player in the power generation industry, specializing in the construction, service, operations, and maintenance of Boiler-based power plants. Our commitment to the success of our customers sets us apart in the industry.

What will you do

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in combining practical hands‑on engineering support with long‑term reliability and maintenance development. The successful candidate will work closely with both site teams and engineering colleagues to improve mechanical system performance, support operational troubleshooting, and help drive technical improvements across the UK sites.

Responsibilities include:

What do you bring to the field

Preferably, you hold a degree in mechanical engineering combined with practical experience from industrial plants, power generation, or similar operational environments.

Ideally, you have experience working with mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, fault finding, and technical support within operating plants. Experience with CMMS, preventive and predictive maintenance and reliability centered maintenance strategies.

Experience from power plants, utilities, process industry, marine, or offshore environments is highly relevant.

You are a self‑starter who takes initiative and works independently. You bring a structured and analytical approach to your work, while maintaining a practical and solution‑oriented mindset. You are comfortable working both from the office and on site and enjoy collaborating with both operational and engineering teams.

In addition, you hold:
