Due to continued growth are currently seeking Principal Civil Engineers to join our team, these positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.
As a Principal Civil Engineer your responsibilities could include:
 
* Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
 
* Key role holder within the Engineering team on the project.
 
* Delivery of the civil, structural, and architectural design.
 
* Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
 
* Understanding of the commercial implications of products, scope and packages
 
* Delivery of substantiation and other approvals.
 
* Risk identification with proposed resolution / mitigation.
 
* Production of Schedule and identification of key milestones.
 
* Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, BIM etc.)

What You’ll Need:

* Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) subject- MEng (preferred)
 
* Appropriate (Engineering or Scientific) Institution Membership
- Chartered Engineer
 
* Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel
 
* Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles where professional judgement is the key attribute
