We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading M&E contractor based in Warrington.
Our client delivers mechanical and electrical building services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare and education projects, and is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team.
The Role- Producing mechanical designs and drawings for M&E projects
- Working across a range of sectors and project types
- Producing calculations, schematics and specifications
- Liaising with the wider design and project delivery teams
- Ensuring designs meet current regulations and client requirements
- Supporting projects from concept through to installation stage
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within M&E/building services
- Proficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, CAD-Duct or similar)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and current regulations
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND or degree in Building Services or similar)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Permanent position
