This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team, delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle while contributing to some of the UK's most strategically important programmes.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical engineering activities across a diverse portfolio of nuclear and infrastructure projects.
Working closely with Project Managers, Principal Engineers and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the successful delivery of projects from concept design through to commissioning and operational support.

You will manage assigned engineering work packages, working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives, monitor progress, identify technical risks and support planning, estimating and resource management activities.
You will ensure engineering activities comply with relevant procedures, codes, standards and regulatory requirements, while contributing to Project Safety Assessment, configuration management, design governance and engineering assurance activities.
The role will also involve regular client and stakeholder engagement, participation in technical meetings and design reviews, resolution of technical challenges and the provision of clear engineering advice.
You will work collaboratively across engineering disciplines, share technical knowledge, support junior engineers where appropriate and contribute to the continuous development of engineering capability and best practice across the wider business.
