Control Systems Engineer - PCS

Control Systems Engineer - PCS7 Warrington (On-site  customer visits) £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) Due to ongoing expansion, a key client of Hunter Selection is looking for a PCS7 Control Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role you will work with customers in the Pharmaceutical sector delivering control system upgrades and ongoing support. Working with Siemens PCS7, you'll be a key point of contact for customers during projects, supporting from control systems design through to commissioning.

Due to the nature of the customers you will support, this will be a hands on position where you will diagnose faults in live environments within the PCS7 system. You will also support on continuous improvement projects to reduce any future downtime in 24/7 manufacturing opoerations. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers and carrying out remote on-call support when required.

Requirements Degree level (or equivalent) education in electrical engineering or a related field 3 years experience in Control Systems Engineering Hands on experience with DCS systems (ideally Siemens SIMATIC PCS7) Previous work experience in a GMP manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical experience is desireable) Knowledge of GAMP frameworks Willing to work on customer sites across the Northwest Code: INDENM If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
