Rate: £56/hr
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to support a nuclear Fuel Integrity Project, delivering monitoring and sampling systems across nuclear storage ponds.
Key Responsibilities- Develop engineering solutions for instrumentation, control and monitoring systems.
- Produce engineering specifications, design drawings and technical documentation.
- Conduct plant walkdowns and technical investigations.
- Manage engineering requirements and ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Significant CE&I engineering experience in the nuclear or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience with instrumentation, control systems and safety system design.
- Knowledge of engineering specifications, optioneering and requirements management.
- Relevant Electrical, Electronic, Controls or Instrumentation qualification.
- Qualification in relevant engineering discipline (Electrical & Electronic/ Controls & Instruments)
- Eligible for security clearance and P1 pass
- Sellafield site experience, nuclear sampling and monitoring, AutoCAD 2D, and relevant functional safety qualifications
