Keyholder, Nights – Warrington

Hours & Compensation

Hours per week: 40

Pay rate: £13.08-£14.08 per hour (night rate £14.08 per hour between 23:00 and 06:00)

About the Role

As a Keyholder you hold the key to making customers feel welcome and help create the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience.

Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for opening, trading and closing the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager / Assistant Manager.
  • Ensure venue housekeeping standards, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
  • Issue customers with change, control any personal float allocated, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with bingo, catering or any other duties as required or directed by the Venue / Duty Manager.
  • Process payouts for machine faults in line with company procedures when authorised.
  • Monitor customer behaviour, noting suspicious or disruptive actions and reporting to the Venue Manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and report potential hazards.
  • Provide accurate administration as required.
  • Ensure promotions run smoothly and are a success.
  • Deliver customer service in line with company standards and aim for customer delight.
  • Escalate complaints promptly to management.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to the company dress code.
  • Promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Flexible and able to work a rota that includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Experience in a similar role in retail, hospitality or gambling sector.
  • Strong communication and people skills, with a passion for first‑class service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and progress; eager to support the training of others.
  • Role model for the team; experience in cash handling.
  • Will receive industry and compliance training.
