Management Accountant

Location: Birchwood

Management Accountant £40,000 - £50,000  benefits Sheffield - Hybrid working We're looking for a talented and proactive management accountant looking for their next move in their career to join our Finance team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious to join a dynamic and forward thinking Finance team.

What you will do:

Preparation of monthly management accounts Variance analysis of actual performance including cost reconciliations and analysis of profit variances Supporting business budgeting and forecasting, including cash flow Revenue recognition and WIP reconciliation Ensuring correct revenue and cost allocation across works Production of Balance Sheet reconciliations, along with identification of and dealing with potential issues Business partnering with overhead functions to support management of cost base Ad-hoc financial analysis to support business strategy and performance Preparation of information and liaising with Group Finance and external auditors as required We want to hear from you if you have:
Relevant finance qualification (for example, ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel Previous management accountancy experience in a similar environment, including working with profit centres and producing variance analyses

Experience of business partnering Knowledge of accounting practices and reporting requirements, experience of working with IFRS
