Transactional Finance Manager

Join Headstar as a Transactional Finance Manager based in Warrington, United Kingdom. This is a role for someone with strong AP, AR, cash flow experience, confidence taking full ownership, and a solid understanding of SAP.

Reporting into Treasury in the US, this role offers autonomy and requires a proactive approach to cash management and process improvement.

• Leading, coaching, and keeping a small transactional finance team running smoothly.
• Using SAP daily to manage AP, AR, and cash forecasting.
• Ensuring invoices are paid appropriately and chasing outstanding payments.
• Owning the cash forecasting process.
• Identifying and fixing process issues without unnecessary disruption.
• Building relationships with procurement, operations, and commercial teams.
• Reporting on KPIs, cash flow, and related metrics.

• Experience leading a small finance team.
• Fluent in SAP with strong navigation skills.
• Proficiency in AP, AR, and cash forecasting.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings where product flows and supply chains matter.
• Ability to explain payment runs clearly and timely.

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience.
• 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
