this finance manager opportunity will be responsible for the full functions of the finance team maintaining tight financial controls whilst developing and improving process / details within financial reporting. With 3 direct reports working closely with the senior operations team, as the finance manager you will be focusing on maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business, presenting monthly budgeting & forecasting with commentary, consolidating data from other entities within the company and a strong focus on of cash flow forecasts and debt collection.
dayto day duties
- track industrial and process kpis, including cash flow forecasts and debt recovery.
- participate in internal and external audit reviews
- building relationships across the business to highlight the value of finance and drive best practices.
- guide decision-making to ensure compliance with client and head office standards.
- prepare monthly management accounts, with an emphasis on quarter-end and year-end closures.
- consolidate reporting packages, analyse variances, and provide commentary for the executive director.
- assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and manage capex spending and investment cases.
the ideal candidate for this role will have experience maintaining the day-to-day functions of a finance team with a proven track record of good commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data with accuracy. Whilst having the ability to manage 3 junior direct reports you will excellent communication skills also hold a recognised qualification(cima / acca / aca / cta).
