Tech Connect Group have partnered with an automotive manufacturing business based in Warrington.
This automotive business operates across the UK, with a head office based in Warwickshire, but is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of the two sites in the North West area. Coming off their best year financially, they are continuing to grow and modernise as they continue to have a strong 2026.
Driven by a strong set of core values, they are looking for a friendly, hardworking, qualified accountant to join the team and help maintain their exceptionally high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close, oversee full statutory year-end audits, and deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and group reporting.
- Partner with operational heads to drive performance, analyse gross margins, track KPIs, and manage working capital (cash, stock, debtors, and creditors).
- Maintain robust internal financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations, UK GAAP compliance, and oversee tax/VAT returns.
- Optimise financial systems (including post-implementation support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP) and drive continuous process improvements.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop direct reports, while overseeing payroll inputs and day-to-day ledger management.
Key
Skills & Experience:
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified accountant with a strong technical background and proven experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced hands-on experience as a key user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or an equivalent production ERP system), alongside strong capability in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing a finance team, combined with a proactive, hands-on approach to partnering with operational stakeholders.
- Highly analytical, systematic, and process-orientated with a high attention to detail, capable of multitasking and managing a diverse workload.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other sites across the UK as required by the business.
