Tax & Compliance Manager / Warrington (Hybrid) / Salary circa £60,000

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful, private equity-backed business in Warrington to recruit a Tax & Compliance Manager. This is a newly created opportunity for a - part or fully qualified - tax professional to take ownership of the group's tax compliance and reporting activities, whilst acting as the key point of contact for auditors, external advisors and regulatory bodies.

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business meets all statutory, tax and regulatory obligations, whilst driving continuous improvements across tax governance, reporting and compliance processes.

The Role

As Tax Lead, you will be responsible for managing all direct and indirect tax matters across the group, ensuring compliance with evolving legislation and supporting strong financial governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all corporate tax compliance activities, including the preparation, review and submission of tax returns.
• Manage the annual capital allowances process and ensure accurate reporting throughout the year.
• Oversee VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Machine Gaming Duty (MGD), Climate Change Levy (CCL), PSA submissions and other indirect tax filings.
