In this role, you will promote health and independence by delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions. You will also provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will demonstrate highly specialist occupational therapy expertise, including skills in occupational engagement, environmental adaptation, and the development and maintenance of abilities required for meaningful participation in daily life.
You will manage a designated caseload, using theoretical knowledge and practical experience to complete assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in line with individual care plans.

Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, service users, carers, families, and external stakeholders
- Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants
- Support and deliver occupational therapy student placements
- Contribute to appraisals and personal development planning for junior staff
- Lead the development and implementation of relevant policies, protocols, and care pathways
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- UK HCPC registration
- Extensive post-qualification clinical experience working with children and young people with complex needs
- Strong experience applying occupational therapy frames of reference and approaches
- Highly developed clinical reasoning skills
- Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models
- Experience working with neurodiverse individuals
