We have two conveniently located clinics, located in North-West and the South-East of England. We also offer mobile services, using our cutting-edge vans for on-site visits.
Our Warrington clinic has close links to the M62, M56 and M6.
Job DescriptionAs an Occupational Health Technician, you will travel to various client sites, transporting and operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to deliver health surveillance services. You will be required to drive the company’s health surveillance van, which is fully equipped for medical assessments. Travel is a key aspect of this role, including occasional overnight stays, which will be fully covered by the business.
- Travel to various client sites to conduct occupational health assessments and screenings, including hearing tests, lung function tests, and other relevant health checks.
- Transport and operate the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to deliver health surveillance services.
- Delivering a range of health surveillance and other occupational health and wellbeing activities, in line with current HSE guidance and company requirements, including:
- Audiometry
- Lung function testing
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis)
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly stocked for site visits.
- Support the occupational health team by setting up mobile clinics and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during off‑site visits.
- Administer basic clinical tests (such as blood pressure checks) under the direction of occupational health professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests and assessments performed, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, including client consent forms, is completed and securely stored.
- Support the clinical team with any technical duties required to provide efficient occupational health services.
- Liaise with internal and external contacts including outside agencies
- Administration tasks for the efficient running of the Occupational Health service
- Work away on occasion, as required
- Occasional overnight work
- Undertake any other duties as necessary
- Full, clean, UK driving licence (or valid EU licence for UK)
- Previous experience working as an OHT
- Willingness to travel to different client sites
- Ability to work autonomously/unsupervised
- Strong IT literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office) to manage reports and documentation
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
