Mental Health Crisis Recovery Worker – Warrington & Halton

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide essential support to individuals in crisis across Warrington and Halton. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, assess clients’ needs, offer emotional guidance, and promote mental health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Assess individual needs and provide emotional and psychological support.
  • Engage clients one‑to‑one and facilitate group‑based activities.
  • Signpost clients to mainstream services and external networks.
  • Collaborate with local agencies and external partners to deliver coordinated care.
  • Work 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, on 18:00‑24:00 shifts.
  • Attend two nights per week at Halton (Tuesday‑Wednesday) and Thursday Runcorn, travelling between both venues as required.
Qualifications
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) and willingness to develop further.
  • Experience working with mental health clients and an understanding of complex needs (mental health, learning, physical, substance misuse).
  • Strong motivational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify barriers, understand client needs and work within a community‑based service.
