Senior Clinical Physiologist; Respiratory and Sleep

Key responsibilities

• Competent in all routine respiratory investigations, including spirometry (with reversibility), respiratory muscle strength, and full lung function testing using nitrogen washout or body box methods.
• Review and sign off spirometry performed in community clinics, ensuring reports are sent out within deadline targets.
• Fit and analyse limited‑channel sleep studies and overnight oximetry.
• Analyse and produce complex reports on limited‑channel and respiratory sleep studies to ARTP standards.
• Support the service as it evolves, providing CPAP treatment and prescription changes as required.
• Provide administrative support to the respiratory diagnostics team as needed.

• Full lung function testing experience.
• Overnight polygraphy assessment.
• CPAP initiation and follow‑up.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Genuine enthusiasm for delivering high‑quality patient care.
