Learning Disability Night Support Worker

Service: Community Support

Hours per week: 31–33 hours per week

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Location: Latchford, Warrington

Working Pattern 33‑hour contract (two‑week rolling rota)

  • Week 1:
    Monday 4:00–10:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am–6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am–10:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am–10:00 pm
  • Week 2:
    Monday 4:00–10:00 pm, Wednesday 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am–8:00 pm

Working Pattern 31‑hour contract (two‑week rolling rota)

  • Week 1:
    Thursday 8:00 am–8:00 pm, Friday 1:00 pm–9:00 pm
  • Week 2:

About MG

MG is a welcoming, homely residential home that caters to up to six individuals with learning and physical disabilities, including those classified as having PMLD. The home offers a nurturing environment with a spacious garden, fostering meaningful connections and companionship.

A Day in the Life of a Learning Disability Support Worker

Each day is unique and person‑centred. The role involves personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence, and building positive relationships through effective communication. Comprehensive training is provided to equip you with a wide range of assistance.

Job Summary

Work under the Service Manager to meet the needs of residents, promoting high‑quality, personalised care through guidance, development, and learning.

  • Recognise and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.
Health and Safety
  • Take reasonable care of own and others’ health and safety.
  • Cooperate with the employer to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Avoid misuse of equipment or systems provided for safety.
  • Support the Service Manager in maintaining a safe environment.
Data Protection
  • Respect confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and ISO
