💡 The Role

An excellent opportunity to join a large, high-volume payroll function processing circa 8,000 employees across multiple payroll frequencies. Reporting into a highly respected Payroll Director (Chair of the CIPP), this role offers strong mentoring and clear career progression.

You’ll support accurate and timely payroll processing while contributing to major business transformation, including a system migration to Resource Link and office relocation to a brand-new Birchwood campus.

Key Responsibilities

* Process end-to-end payroll in line with deadlines

* Manage starters, leavers, pay changes & statutory compliance

* Process time, attendance, sickness & holiday data

* Handle payroll deductions & statutory notifications (HMRC, AOE, pensions)

* Run audit checks, exception reports & data corrections

* Support BACS processing

* Respond to employee payroll queries within SLA

* Assist with payroll projects & system change initiatives

👤 The Ideal Candidate

* 1+ year payroll experience

* Keen to build a long-term payroll career

* Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

* Strong attention to detail & compliance focus

* Open to learning new systems (Resource Link experience beneficial but not essential)
