Are you an experienced Employment Law and Employee Relations professional who enjoys turning complex legal issues into clear, practical advice? We’re looking for an Employment Law & HR Consultant to join our Wirehouse Advice Team, building trusted client relationships and helping organisations confidently navigate their people challenges.

What We OfferSalary: £41,000 - £48,000 per annum

What We’re Looking ForAs an Employment Law & HR Consultant, you’ll provide high-quality, legally compliant and commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice to Wirehouse clients.
You’ll become a trusted advisor to your clients, providing timely, accurate and practical guidance alongside the supporting information and documentation they need to confidently implement your advice.
Your role will include:
- Providing legally compliant employment law and employee relations advice and guidance to clients
- Helping clients achieve their commercial objectives while understanding and meeting their legal obligations
- Providing supporting documentation and information to help clients implement advice
- Liaising with employee representatives regarding early conciliation and associated matters
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients
- Delivering client training where required
- Supporting proposals and prospective client meetings
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and sharing resources and best practice across the team
- Working closely with the commercial team to provide insight into client usage and support renewal conversations
- Maintaining accurate records of client communications, advice and time
- Keeping your employment law knowledge current and taking ownership of your ongoing professional development
You’ll have strong technical knowledge of employment law and the confidence to provide clear, pragmatic advice across core areas of employment law and employee relations.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- At least 2 years' experience delivering employment law and employee relations advice within a legal setting
- Good technical and up-to-date knowledge of employment law
- The ability to provide commercially aware, practical and client-focused advice
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines while maintaining high standards
- A strong commitment to client care and delivering excellent service
- The ability to remain independent, impartial and objective
- A calm, confident and professional approach, including when working under pressure
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards continuous improvement and professional development
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to being a supportive team player
