Opportunity

Do you enjoy building digital communities and sparking engagement? Skilled Up Life is looking for a Social Media Engagement Volunteer to help drive conversations, amplify our content, and create a vibrant online presence across platforms such as Linked In, Twitter, and Facebook. You will support the marketing team by increasing our reach, boosting engagement, and fostering authentic interactions with our followers and stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to hone your community engagement and social listening skills in a global, real-world environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and engage with Skilled Up Life’s audience across social media platforms.
  • Respond to comments, share relevant updates, and encourage discussions.
  • Amplify Skilled Up Life’s posts by resharing and contextualizing for various audience segments.
  • Initiate or participate in conversations around volunteering, tech startups, and career growth.
  • Identify opportunities to interact with relevant influencers, brands, or community groups.
  • Report weekly insights and highlight community sentiment.
Requirements
  • Passionate about community building and online engagement.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Linked In, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Prior experience in community management or social media is a plus.
Engagement Details
  • 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
  • 60 Volunteer Days over 3+ months
  • Part-time
  • Fully remote
Acquired Skills
  • Real-world experience in social media engagement and community growth.
  • Improved online communication, brand voice, and sentiment monitoring.
  • Collaboration with marketing teams and alignment with growth strategies.
  • Exposure to global digital engagement practices.
