Systems Engineer
Core Responsibilities
- Own the technical delivery and support of third‑party tooling projects
- Collaborate with Tech and wider business teams to translate system requirements into scalable solutions
- Design, build, and maintain system integrations using an open‑source iPaaS platform, middleware, and APIs
- Map, design, and optimise business workflows to improve efficiency and automation
- Act as the technical SME for multiple systems, informing decisions around configuration and data migration
- Manage day‑to‑day technical support including access control and incident handling
- Maintain architecture and end‑user support documentation
- Liaise with functional business sponsors to support roadmap strategy and vendor reviews
- Experiment with AI to improve productivity using LLMs and Copilots
- Ensure all compliance and governance frameworks are completed
- Possess a technical background in writing code and building new applications
- Show proficiency in building and maintaining integrations using APIs and iPaaS tools
- Learn the architecture of various business systems and applications quickly
- Display strong analytical and systems thinking skills to design end‑to‑end workflows
- Manage stakeholders across multiple teams to deliver complex systems change
- Gather and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions
- Organise concurrent tasks and projects with high‑quality documentation habits
