Lead IT Security Analyst

Job Description

Lead IT Security Analyst to act as senior technical expert across our multi‑site organisation, supporting the Head of IT Security and strengthening our cyber resilience.

You’ll play a key role in protecting systems and data across a complex, multi‑site IT estate, leading on security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management, while acting as a senior escalation point for the wider team.

• Lead security operations across multi‑site infrastructure (SIEM, EDR, network security)
• Act as the senior escalation point for cyber incidents and investigations
• Drive incident response – triage, containment, root cause analysis
• Oversee and improve vulnerability management and threat detection
• Support secure design and architecture across infrastructure and cloud changes
• Enhance and manage key security tooling and controls
• Work closely with IT, infrastructure, and external partners across sites
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Proven experience in IT security / cyber operations
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cloud, and endpoint security
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR, IAM, firewalls, vulnerability tools
• Confident leading incident response and technical investigations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
• Experience working in multi‑site or complex environments (highly desirable)
