Senior Procurement Manager

£550 per day | Inside IR35 | Interim (August-October)
Warrington (1-2 days per week) | Hybrid Working

We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join them on a high-impact interim assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven procurement professional to play a key role in delivering strategic sourcing programmes, driving procurement savings and efficiencies, and supporting a significant procurement transformation programme, including ERP integration activities.

Working closely with the Head of Procurement and senior stakeholders across the business, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives, optimise supplier performance, and help embed best-practice procurement processes across the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sourcing projects and category strategies that generate measurable savings and efficiencies.
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract management activities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives, governance improvements, and ERP readiness.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and ensure successful delivery of procurement projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement, risk management, and sustainable procurement practices.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven track record of delivering procurement savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and procurement delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting procurement change, transformation, or business improvement programmes.
Desirable Experience
  • MCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification.
  • ERP implementation/integration experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience with in engineering, design-led, or project-based environments.
  • Knowledge of ESG and sustainable procurement practices.
