Graduate Buyer to join a leading manufacturing business based in
Warrington
.
Working alongside experienced buyers, you will support the sourcing and purchasing of
engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing equipment
, while developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across the UK and Europe.
Please note:
This role requires regular travel throughout the UK and Europe. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel are essential.

Key Duties
- Source engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing parts and services.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time supply.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel to customer and supplier sites across the UK and Europe.
- Support supplier negotiations to achieve the best cost, quality, and lead times.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and continuous improvement.
- Resolve supplier, delivery, and invoice queries.
- Produce procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Support wider procurement and supply chain activities as required.
Requirements
- Recent graduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Completion of a 12-month industry placement as part of your degree, ideally within procurement, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and willingness to learn.
- Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe.
