The Engineering Support Operative will assist with routine maintenance duties at the Asda Distribution Centre to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance and quality. Key responsibilities include

• Operational and functionality checks, cleaning, adjustment, lubrication and monitoring.
• Root cause analysis and formulation of permanent solutions.
• Assisting with planned preventive maintenance, corrective and reactive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Proficient operation of jam‑busting procedures.
• Accurate recording of all work carried out to ensure utilisation.

• Proactive approach to fault finding and proficiency in operation and maintenance procedures.
• Team player mindset.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, and overtime when required.
