Job Summary

Accountable to the Head of Security. The Security Operations/Deputy Manager will assist in compliance with the strategy and directions issued by the Head of Security. This incorporates the day to day coordination of Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's security service and its associated car park service. Delivering and facilitating training courses for other staff, to deliver the trusts clinical hold training/Physical intervention training.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day management of the 24‑hour security service at Warrington and Halton, including the maintenance of security records such as DATIX.
  • Coordination of the Trust’s CCTV facility to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, Human Rights Act, Investigatory Powers Act and other legislation.
  • Maintaining communication with external security service providers under service level agreements and maintenance contracts.
  • Providing operational advice and leadership to the security team, assisting staff during incidents.
  • Developing and communicating security policies, risk assessment, audits and operational procedures in line with legislation.
  • Devolving for the Head of Security, accepting specific projects and tasks.
  • Conducting investigations of security breaches and crimes within the Trust and producing factual written reports to support policy and disciplinary actions.
  • Delivering clinical hold and physical intervention training to all staff.
