Children's Home Manager

Overview

An Exceptional Opportunity to Lead Two New Children's Homes from Day One. We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead two Ofsted-regulated children's homes in Warrington, located just 3 miles apart. This is a rare opportunity to be involved from the very start of registration, building high-quality services from the ground up, supported by a strong senior leadership team. One home is registration-ready now, with the second home due to open later this year, offering excellent earning potential and long-term career progression.

• Lead the full Ofsted registration process for both homes
• Provide strong, inspirational leadership to staff teams
• Ensure Outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
• Build a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment
• Develop care plans focused on positive outcomes for young people
• Lead recruitment, supervision, training, and staff development
• Maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, professionals, and families
• Drive continuous improvement and service development

• Previously held Ofsted registration in children's residential care (within last 2 years)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards
• Proven experience leading registrations and Ofsted inspections
• Excellent safeguarding and child protection knowledge
• Passion for therapeutic, trauma-informed care
