As Designate Head of Hub
, you’ll work closely with the Head of Hub Operations and Heads of Hub across our network to drive operational excellence. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You’ll support multiple sites, step in as senior cover when needed, lead teams through change, and help deliver safe, compliant, cost-effective operations that hit demanding SLAs.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of Hub strategy, KPIs, and operational performance across the network
  • Deputise for Heads of Hub, providing confident leadership and decision-making cover
  • Drive compliance, safety, service, and cost control across Hub operations
  • Develop and coach Hub Managers and Operations Managers to build leadership capability
  • Support peak planning and capacity management to meet business growth demands
  • Use data and insight to challenge performance and deliver continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Proven operational leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience leading large teams
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across functions
  • Strong analytical capability, with confidence using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including reporting to senior leaders
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Hub network
