Full-time with on-call responsibilities About the Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the setup and day-to-day management of a new 2-bed childrens residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This role will oversee Ofsted registration, safeguarding, staff leadership, and the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic care. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can recover from trauma and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Lead the operation and management of the childrens home Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and risk management Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and resources Promote therapeutic approaches including PACE Support young peoples education, wellbeing, and development Maintain accurate records, reporting, and quality assurance Build relationships with families, local authorities, and professionals Recruit, supervise, and develop staff teams Lead the home through registration and ongoing inspection processes Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Previous Registered Manager experience with Good or Outstanding Ofsted history Strong knowledge of safeguarding and childrens home regulations Experience commissioning or opening new homes (desirable) Ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality care Home Overview 2-bed childrens residential home Supporting young people aged 1017 with EBD Pre-Ofsted stage Registered Manager will lead registration and setup This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to shape a new home from the outset and lead a high-quality therapeutic service.
