Our team of Utility Infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.

Social Infrastructure
- Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.

United Infrastructure Utilities are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Director for our Energy & Water businesses.

Job Purpose

Lead sector-level commercial performance, translating divisional strategy into delivery across Water or Energy portfolios.

Key Accountabilities

* Accountable for sector margin, cash, and risk performance

* Own sector commercial strategy and client positioning

* Approval of:

* Bid strategies

* Portfolio forecasts

* Major commercial decisions

* Senior client relationship ownership

Key Responsibilities

* Challenge and approve HoC forecasts and CVRs

* Drive improvement in margin and cost recovery

* Manage sector-level commercial risks and disputes

* Lead Heads of Commercial

* Sector-specific knowledge (Water or Gas/Energy frameworks)

Experience & Qualifications

* 12–15+ years relevant experience

* Significant experience managing multi-contract portfolios

* Strong exposure to client-facing leadership

* Degree + RICS (preferred)
