The RoleAs General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the commercial and operational performance of the venue. This is not simply a venue management role. We are looking for a leader who can build a high-performing culture, deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive revenue growth and create a destination that families return to again and again. With ambitious 5 year growth plans to open another 10 UK destinations, the role comes with amazing opportunities to progress to senior / board management level.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- Full operational site responsibility
- Recruit, develop and inspire a team of 50+ colleagues.
- Create a culture of energy, accountability and fun.
- Lead, coach and develop managers and supervisors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning.
- Producing weekly management reports
- Full P&L management of £3 million turnover
- Launch of future new sites
- Deliver world-class guest experiences every day.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews.
- Drive industry-leading Net Promoter Scores.
- Drive exceptional customer service throughout the team
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Own venue revenue and EBITDA performance.
- Maximise admissions, memberships, parties and F&B; sales.
- Identify opportunities to improve spend per head.
- Deliver labour and cost controls in line with budget.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day venue operations.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Oversee attraction availability and maintenance schedules.
- Lead a strong health & safety culture and statutory compliance
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience.
- Experience leading large team
- Proven record of P&L management
- Strong commercial awareness and sales focus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Career ambitions to climb the ladder
- Experience in leisure, hospitality, FECs, bowling, holiday parks or attractions preferred.
- Build and retain an exceptional team.
- Deliver outstanding guest reviews.
- Establish Slidie Sliderson as Warrington’s leading family attraction.
- Achieve revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Help shape the future growth of the Slidie Sliderson brand.
