Lead, Innovate and Make a Difference

Are you ready to take the next step in your career, or looking for a new challenge where you can shape the future of high-quality support?

We're looking for a Supported Living Manager who is passionate about helping people with learning disabilities and autism live gloriously ordinary lives, while bringing fresh ideas, curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This could be the perfect opportunity for an experienced manager seeking a new challenge, or for an ambitious Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager ready to step into their first management role.

About the Role

You will lead a team of approximately 20 colleagues supporting up to 9 people across our Supported Living services.

As a leader, you'll create an environment where people feel valued, supported and motivated to do their best work. You'll coach, develop and inspire your team, ensuring they have the skills, confidence and resources needed to deliver outstanding person-centred support.

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply maintain the status quo. We want a manager who is open to new ideas, embraces change and is excited by the opportunities that modern technology creates for both the people we support and the teams who support them.

You’ll encourage creative approaches to support, help people build meaningful connections within their communities, and explore how digital tools, social media and technology can open up new opportunities, experiences and relationships.

Alongside this, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the services, including:

  • Team leadership, supervision and development
  • Recruitment, induction and onboarding
  • Rota management and workforce planning
  • Budget management and financial oversight
  • Risk assessments and support planning
  • Quality assurance, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Building positive relationships with families, professionals and community organisations

You’ll also become part of a supportive local management team where collaboration, learning and sharing ideas are actively encouraged.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in your potential as much as your experience.

You will have experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, ideally within a Supported Living environment. You may already be managing a service, or you may have experience supervising or leading teams and be ready for the next step.

Most importantly, you'll be:

  • A visible and values-led leader who leads by example
  • Curious, adaptable and open to new ways of working
  • Passionate about helping people achieve greater independence and wider life opportunities
  • Comfortable using digital systems and technology, and keen to embrace new tools that improve quality, efficiency and outcomes
  • Creative in your thinking and confident in challenging "the way things have always been done"
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with colleagues, families, professionals and community partners
  • Organised, accountable and able to balance people-focused leadership with operational responsibilities

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as regular travel between services, meetings, training and events will be required.

Why Join Us?

We're a values-led organisation that believes great support starts with great people. We invest in our colleagues, encourage innovation and create opportunities for people to develop and progress.

If you're excited by the opportunity to lead, learn, innovate and make a lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship and therefore applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time.
