WE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be:
September 2026, can be discussed at interview. - Starting salary of £31,939.74 per annum, based on competence and experience.
- 39 Hours working 5 days per week including alternate weekends and minimum of 1 late per week and 1 late Friday & Saturday monthly.
- Working hours are between 7am to 11pm.

NEED TO HAVE
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- An enthusiasm for home furnishings and experience of working in a customer-oriented high-volume retail business.
- Business-minded with a customer focus, with the ability to deliver solid business results through people.
- Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive performance through KPIs, balancing sales growth, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency while delivering sustainable business results.
- Leading others, you will have good communication and coaching skills that support building relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Buils positive and productive relationships across departments, fostering collaboration to achieve shared business objectives while confidently challenging when processes, standards, or compliance requirements are not being met.
- Demonstrates a keen interest in quality standards, governance, and compliance requirements, ensuring processes, products, and recovery operations consistently meet IKEA policies and regulatory expectations.
- Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making, using insights and performance metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and implement effective quality improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and organise your own and others' workloads to meet operational standards.
- Proven ability to maintain effective work and leadership behaviour in the face of setbacks or pressure.
- Lead, coach and develop the Product Quality & Recovery team of around 20+ co-workers, providing clear direction, regular feedback and development opportunities while ensuring a customer-first mindset in everything we do.
- Maintain high levels of team engagement and motivation, ensuring co-workers remain committed to delivering operational standards, even when undertaking repetitive, demanding or less visible tasks.
- Set goals and action plans for the department, monitoring performance and taking proactive action to drive continuous improvement and achieve agreed business objectives.
- Establish routines and collaborate across the store to ensure co-workers understand and contribute to product quality and safety recovery processes, preventing sales-stopped, defective or recalled products from reaching customers.
- Ensure timely reporting of product safety, compliance and quality deviations, incidents and risks through IKEA's product deviation reporting systems.
- Drive cost recovery initiatives through effective product quality management, root cause analysis and stock recovery processes, contributing to overall store profitability.
- Work with the team to actively promote IKEA's social and environmental commitments, supporting sustainability, re-shop and re-use initiatives.
