Job Description & How to Apply Below

Andron Facilities Management is one of the UK’s most successful family-owned facilities management companies.

Our story began back in 1980 as a father-and-son duo with a single carpet-cleaning machine and a vision of doing things differently. Today, we are a third-generation company with more than 2,600 colleagues, delivering cleaning, security and support services across over 1,000 customer sites throughout the UK.

We are a growing, values-led business with a clear mission to make a difference. We care deeply about our people, give back to our communities and work hard to reduce our impact on the planet.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercials to join our team.

Role Objective

The Head of Commercials will lead Andron’s commercial function and manage the commercial team, providing commercial support across Operations, Bid Teams, Contract Management and the wider business.

The role will take responsibility for contractual changes, commercial governance, supply chain commercials and contracts, margin reporting and analysis and benchmarking across service sectors.

Reporting to the COO, the Head of Commercials will work closely with operational and senior leaders to ensure strong commercial control, effective contract management and the identification and management of commercial risk and opportunity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight of contractual risk registers, ensuring commercial risks are identified, reviewed and appropriately managed.
  • Manage and action annual contractual increases in line with legislation and agreed commercial arrangements.
  • Manage contractual variations through to the CAFM system, ensuring changes are accurately reflected and that there is no contract overspend.
  • Review reactive sales and cost of sales, maintaining appropriate recharge agreements and working closely with the Helpdesk and Operational teams.
  • Negotiate supply chain costs and annual increases to maximise value for clients and the business.
  • Ensure contractual variations are progressed within agreed internal KPIs.
  • Lead the training and development of the commercial team, supporting capability, performance and effective workload management.
  • Maintain appropriate commercial pricing information and support the ongoing development and improvement of commercial systems and processes.
  • Provide commercial reporting and insight to Operational teams.
  • Produce monthly account reporting, including margin analysis, overall company movement, reactive sales and CAFM compliance checks.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, the responsibilities outlined may be expanded or adjusted to reflect organisational development and growth.
